Kajrari aankhein

(origin of inspiration via siddharth's blog...a looooong time ago)
badi badi kajrari aankhein, masoom jaise bachpan bhara hai.
har pal uski aankhein aise bhav dekhati hai, jaise zameen pe woh pehli bar aayee hai.
har cheez ko dekh usee utsah hota, uski aankhein hi baat kar jati.

badi badi kajrari aankhein kuch na kar ke bhi, dil le jati, aanhein de jati.
gali ke nukad pe chai ke thele pe, roz baithe sochta,
aaj kon sa jalwa dekhayenge yeh aankhein.
soch kam pad jati, uske aankhon ka kajal nahi.

not too god, but not a bad try i guess

via my tutor friends

sometimes people say success is briefer than a girl's beauty.

this is for my school days

School days were so much uncomplicated, that anything compared to it looks like a great job well done uuuffffff!!!!!!!
And when i remember those days, there are so many memories, but one is very specific. A dedication to Pooja(one of my best friends). who made me know these verses meant more than just dialogues in the movie.
Going to an only girl school, had different experiences. Imagining future and doing stuff like writing such lyrics in your personal diary were so much common among girls. Now that i came across these verses, i felt like posting it. As these things were so much part our lives. And reciting these verses, with all passion.
And when you remembered the whole thing, there was the shout of accomplishment.(like you see in teenage hollywood movies) yeeeeaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!
Now everything looks funny and foolish seeing it from present. But those were the days of "Aisa pehli bar hua hai satrah, athrah saloon main!!!!!!!!!"

"Aisa pehli baar hua hai satrah athrah saalon mein
Undekha anjaana koyi, aane laga khayalon mein
Aankhon ki khidki par ek sayaa sa lehrata hai
Dil ke darwaze par koyi dastak de ke jaata hai
Gehri, gehri kaali aankhen, mujhse mujhko puchhti hain
Haathon ki rekhaaon mein ek chehra sa ban jaata hai
Uski saansen resham jaisi gaalon ko chhu jaati hain
Uske haathon ki khushboo hai ab tak mere baalon mein
Aisa pehli baar hua hai satrah athrah saalon mein
Undekha anjaana koyi aane laga khayalon mein."

Coz the end is always more fun than the beginning!(a statement by an adventurer, on situation and life)
Its a challenge worth taking and living all the way with fun, both beginning and end. blur the difference(my thought)

Blinds

Light seeps in through the small cut out holes creating an image of a city by night. The cut-outs represent the light in the windows of apartment buildings and office complexes in the city. The images represent a selection of cities that Elina has traveled to in the last few years and the photographs are by her. The chosen views are of contrasting cityscapes: skyscrapers in Tokyo, 60s modernism in Helsinki and 19th century architecture in Paris. The new Better View Blind with a Berlin View will be launched in October at the Galeries Lafayette in Berlin. Elina Aalto is a young designer living and working in Helsinki. In 2006, Elina's giant outdoor oriental carpet in Arabianranta, Helsinki was awarded the prize of the Best Environmental Art Work of the Year. Elina is also one of the three founding members of IMU, Finland's self-appointed National Design Team representing young Finnish and Helsinki-based designers.

accident prone ahmedabad

hey kirti,
remember college. its usually me who is standing and people sitting behind me are on road. well i can right one thing about ahmedabd traffic is they'll hit you, smile or best part is laugh and go away smiling without waiting and asking are you hurt. "i hit you with my bike while you were standing on the curb" thats normal right. i love this though.
other cities people may run away or start slangs otherwise on you. but in ahmedabad, they'll smile and leave. rightly thinking in their heads,"come on you are adults, you can take care of yourself. you can go to a hospital. thats just some scratch and blood", as would Joey say in FRIENDS.
Did i mention, once a scooter driver, came right into the rickshaw we were in. then took the hood of his scooter out from the rickshaw and started driving without saying a word.

rakhi ka swayamwar- what the heck yaar

How appropriate is it to right about this? not at all. But there is a gripping disgust, that is its gripping and you cannot stop disgusting of whats being shot and whats shown. definitely the trp is amazingly going high. there are people who love it, as its a perfect entertainment. some people believe in it, some people like us watch it sometimes and disgust it and get some pj's out to lighten ourself and somewhere show are high intellect.(the people who have started this show and who are working with whatever intentions do have intellect, though not the people in it.)and some do not watch it at all except for some glimpse.
But what the heck. What kind of mind set these people are setting. it scares me(without disgust or anger), that all these shows watched by our adults and kids at home see the shows, which has nothing to do with 21st century and how things are preceding. but more degradingly showing supression of women. Man domination or male dumbness. women being villans and always wearing sarees or getting chucked around like may be our grandmothers can relate to, more than us.
The best men in the crowd always have affairs and not the villian actually. the girl is always afraid to speak to her fiance', there is always one lady in the house who hates everybody in the house, including her husband if that is needed for trp.and if nothing works a swayamwar, comparing rakhi to sita or draupadi. where in one episode she justifies of not drinking or smoking and in other she is dancing with bunch of PATI's that have come to marry her with a glass of wine in her hand.
and still there is something left, there are shows which degrade individuals and now kids and chuck them out, without thinking of the mental stress and pyschological affect it may have on them.may be it is good, as it has gone forward from sunday duck tales and chitrahar and bomkesh bakshi. But what the heck yaar!!!!!!will not start over the news channels for now.
