Design museum

Some interesting stuff around the Museum of Industrial Design, London.

D-barcode specialises in turning barcode into something fun and memorable. Barcodes grace almost every product for sale. Given how much package real estate they command, why shouldn't they look cool?

duality in use

These days i'm able to see a lot of old designs made for regular use in our homes. Say 100 years before, more or less. And with each of them , my observations strengthens that none of the product, be in a utensil or a dress was made for one sole purpose. Every one had dual purpose to serve or an hidden agenda. For now i cannot upload those pics, but i think in present times one of the best places to see such work is either VISHALA, ahmedabad or CITY PALACE MUSEUM, Jaipur. But heres just a pinch of that funda put to practice.

Pet name

Baby, dinky, jiji, jojo, baba, munnu, chunnu. you must have been called by such names from child hood. But if you had to give yourself a PET name now, what would it be? what kind? and why would you choose it so?

A very nice to the perfection link to online buying for kitchen ware. Every aspect of the design of these products have been quite well thought.
